PAINT FOR PROS Quartz White Primer is a ready-to-use white primer with an acrylic dispersion base filled with quartz. The composition of the product ensures excellent coverage and strength. Ideal for improving the adhesion of MagnetPlaster.
Quartz Primer is a matt white special primer with coarse grain for smooth or slightly absorbent substrates such as mineral interior and exterior surfaces. Extremely suitable as a primer for MagnetPlaster. This Primer provides a good grip and excellent adhesion. This product is solvent-free, weather-resistant, low-tension, alkali-resistant and water-permeable. No / very few solvents.

How To Install?
Apply Quartz Primer with a paint roller or brush. Use rollers and brushes for water-based primers.
The surface should be solid, clean, dry, and free of grease, dust and rust. Remove loose coats of paint and clean old coats of paint with a paint cleaner. Fill up any cracks and holes with a suitable filler and lightly sand the surface. Remove any fat, dirt and dust present with water and ammonia. If possible, sponge with clean water and let it dry well. Wallpaper to be painted must be firmly attached.
Quartz Primer can be applied on all usual mineral surfaces (plasters/renders, concrete, masonry), fibre cement, wood and derived timber products, gypsum finish, plaster boards, non-absorbent mineral and organic existing coatings as well as synthetics (with initial test coat) and non-ferrous metals.
Stir the paint well. Quartz Primer should be applied at a temperature above +7°C and a relative humidity of maximum 65%. For one layer, the theoretical consumption is 10 m 2 /L. The actual consumption depends on the state of the surface and the application method.
Cover adjacent surfaces in advance. It is recommended that the material is brushed into the surface with half-length strokes. One layer is sufficient.
Let the Quartz Primer dry for 6 hours before applying MagnetPlaster, depending on the temperature and humidity.
